Toyota Hiace seat covers: tailor-made covers for 1996 to 2014 vans
Universal seat covers are made to stretch over "most" car seats. The Toyota Hiace isn't most cars. Its tall, upright van seats and front bench layout mean a universal cover often bunches, slips or doesn't reach. That's why we had seat covers tailor-made for the Hiace, in our colourful printed designs. This guide explains which vans they fit, how to check yours and what to expect when you order.
Which Hiace vans do they fit?
We make two versions, both for the long wheelbase (LWB) van and both for the front seats:
Both are made for right-hand-drive vans, with the driver's seat on the right, as sold in Australia.
How to check your van's build date
The cut-off between our two versions is around February/March 2005, so it's worth checking your van's build date rather than going by the year on the registration papers alone. You'll usually find the build date on the build or compliance plate, often on the driver's door pillar or under the bonnet. If you're not sure, email a photo of your front seats and the plate to support@raianasvibes.com and we'll confirm which version you need before you order.
Tailor-made vs universal covers
- Fit: ours are cut and sewn to the shape of the Hiace front seats, so they sit smoothly instead of stretching over them.
- Materials: high-grade polyester, lined with an extra-soft spandex cotton, with strong stitching made for daily use.
- Protection: they help protect the original upholstery from spills, UV rays and dirt, which matters in a work van or a camper that lives outdoors.
- Style: no plain grey. Choose a print that makes the cabin feel like yours.
Perfect for camper conversions
A lot of our Hiace customers are converting their vans into campers. Seat covers are one of the easiest ways to make the cab match the rest of your build, and they protect the seats from sandy feet, wet swimmers and muddy dogs on the road. Many of our designs also come as steering wheel covers, sun shades and seat belt covers, so you can match the whole cab.
What to expect when you order
- Choose your print first. Email us at support@raianasvibes.com before ordering to tell us which design you'd like.
- Allow 1 to 2 months. Each set is printed and then sewn by hand by our tailors in the Philippines, so these take much longer than our other products. Please don't order if you need them in a hurry.
- Fit and enjoy. If anything isn't right when they arrive, get in touch and we'll help.
